Hickory Grill

September 21, 2007 – 9:03 pm

Tonight my wife, son and I visited Franklinville’s newest restaraunt, the Hickory Grill. Owned and operated by Bob Buehl the Hickory Grill is where fine art meets fine food in a casual atmosphere. The restaraunt is located upstairs above DeLynn’s Gallery at 22 North Main. Open Wednesday-Saturday from 4-10 pm and Sunday 2-8 pm.  The Hickory Grill’s menu is complete with  Ribeye’s, Fajita rubbed sirloin and specialty items like Hickory Grilled Salmon and Apple Hickory Chicken. This was our second visit to the local eatery in the last month. It’s great to have fine dining, moderate prices and a casual setting in Franklinville.

The Hickory Grill features dine in, take out and catering. Contact the Hickory Grill, 22 Park Square, Franklinville, New York, telephone (716) 676-2626 or fax (716) 676-2233.

Creekside Roundup Fall Trail Ride

September 11, 2007 – 5:29 pm

The 5th Annual Creekside Roundup Fall Trail Rides, held October 5, 6, & 7th, was a great success again this year. There were a total of 45 individual riders; of which 37 rode the seven hour ride on saturday, and 27 that rode the shorter 4 hour ride on Sunday.  The weather was great; almost too warm for this time of year, and the fall colors were beautiful. The Franklinville Area Chamber of Commerce, Equine Committee, will continue to develop trails around the Franklinville area and will continue to provide the quality equine events that were held during the 2007 summer season.
